Shift Chapter Two"Well that certainly doesn't look good."  Finn cocked an eyebrow, wondering exactly where he'd gone wrong. The calculations had been perfect, the elements perfectly measured and attuned…  …but the damned cake still wouldn't sit right.  
He groaned, running a hand through his flour-coated blue hair. It would have been perfect, too. A three-layer cake smothered with fudge icing and small sugar flowers that was almost certain to please anyone, even his picky best friend. Micaiah spun, gloved hands balling into fists. Her nails bit into the leather and she stilled her breathing. The silence of dusk greeted her, wind tousling her short hair and sending gooseflesh up her bare arms.  
Slowly she turned, careful to keep her guard up. The little light that was left from sundown gave her hunter more than enough shadow to hide in, and one wrong move could mean a slit throat. She strained her ears, trying to ignore the pounding sound of her heart and the steady drip of blood running down her cheek. The sound didn’t come again.   Shift: Chapter 1

Geeks Without Sleep

Hey, folks! It's been awhile, eh?

So tonight and tomorrow I am participating in the University of Calgary's Video Game Club's Geeks Without Sleep fundraiser for UNICEF! (Try saying that three times fast.) Ya'll should take a look and donate some money! It's for a good cause!

(Also the crazy people yelling at each other a lot tomorrow morning and playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be both myself and my teammates.)

The webcam is a live feed, and this event begins at 6PM Tuesday (mountain time) and ends 6PM Wednesday (mountain time again).

As of right now, I am hungry. :XD: I've been doing the university thing. The comic shop is very used to my presence. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing.

I'm finally gonna be updating Yaoi Emblem, too. Been working like crazy and writing on the train on the way to school. Nobody sits beside me anymore. ^^;

Ah, I've been working on my yaoi stories as well; I got sick of Fanfiction, so I've since left away from that sinking ship... I'm on here now with alll of my lineart colorings and my fanfiction :3

And I was even lucky enough to snag me a lovely girlfriend <3333
